Another doodle that I conceived from my Photoshop fun expedition.
I know it's kind of messed up (the girl was...BLEH and the red clouds/fog was a nightmare...) but it's just a sketch, thing for fun. XD
Don't get all critical on me because of my lack of Photoshop skills...
This is a girl Valul found half-dead, blind and lying in the street (they live in a sort of Feudal era Japan setting but the clothes Valul and the girl wear are more modern (they won't really have umbrella's like that since it's feudal era but I didn't take the time to find a reference for the proper umbrella, lol, while everyone else's clothes are more of the time period. C: )
I've always wanted to do a story based in the Feudal Japan era (since I'm a sucker for samurai, shinsingumi and other such animes, mangas, and stories.) and Valul helped me do it. While he does originate from the lands of Romania (or what it was back in that time) he moved to Japan when he was 6.
Anyways...this girl, plays a roll in Valul's life as a replacement of his younger sister that she resembles. Both girls were blind but Nou (the girls name; which means gift I believe in Japanese) is a much more independent woman because of how long she had to take care of herself.
Valul thinks of Nou highly, even more than his own life. That's why he gave Nou her name, 'gift'. As he thought her a gift to him.
(and yes that's Valul in the background...with his tall self. XD)
